Back from Tropical Research!

In case you thought the mad scientist label was for show, I'm back from doing Ecological Research in Costa Rica. I wrote a very lengthy paper on bats drowning in statistics no one cares about. I was sad I didn't bring the good Canon camera, but after being drenched, trekking through mud and being eaten alive by bugs in the Absolute Reserve, I realized it was probably for the best.

Wild animals are tough to take pictures of, especially when they are not afraid of you or will pee on you if you get to close (darn monkeys.)

Know this, I'm an art enthusiast. I take digital photos, mostly landscape stuff. I've developed film before using a pinhole camera once and a more traditional scheme the other time, but not since. Films getting expensive and I'm poor. My older stuff is done with a 35mm. I'm highly untrained, but I try. : ) That being said, be merciful. Occasionally I draw weird animals and write. And dance/play violin. But those don't translate to deviantart well...
